Dyke of Nice – Laying Grooved Cubic Blocks

The seawall of the port of Nice was reinforced by the installation of nearly 700 25-tonne concrete blocks manufactured on the site.
The grooved cubic blocks with a unit volume of 10 m3 were laid by water from outside the dike with our pontoon crane “Kinard”.
The considerable resources used, 80 T land crane, 130 T pontoon crane, tugs, scuba divers, enabled us to minimize the impact of the worksite on the port’s operations.
